Zone Implementation Plan 2006 - 2009
Over the next three years, the Rural Regeneration Zone will be improving the economy and quality of life for those that live in the rural west of our region.
The funding will come at a critical time for many. Rural areas face many unique challenges and it is up to the Rural Regeneration Zone to rise to these challenges and to find long-term and sustainable solutions to promote economic prosperity.

Interest in the West Midlands - Commercial Property Market Soars
Demand for industrial property has risen at its fastest pace in over five years says the recent RICS commercial property survey, which was published on 2nd August 2006. It is against this background of increasing investment that Advantage West Midlands has announced its intention to inject gap-funding assistance of more than £12 million into the region's commercial property market.
Grants from £100,000 to £9 million are available to tackle the regeneration of derelict sites and buildings. Public money for investment in commercial capital development is only permitted in Assisted Areas, but from January 1st next year, these areas will change and parts of the West Midlands will no longer qualify.
